Happy spring friends and family of HAFA! You may remember that last year, HAFA participated in the GiveAtHomeMN campaign – an eight day fundraising event that helped nonprofits like us generate revenue to help sustain our programs – especially through the beginning of the pandemic. This year, the Hmong American Farmers Association will be participating in the second iteration of the event – named SpringForwardMN which will be hosted by GiveMN.org and will take place from May 1-11, 2021.
Through the SpringForwardMN campaign this year, we trying to raise additional funds in order to pursue the first phase of securing the purchase of the beloved HAFA Farm and to finalize the last remaining purchases for our new Eastern Facility. Accomplishing these goals will make a world of difference and will result in long term, affordable access to farmland for many of our Hmong farming families! Please help us continue this rich and long-lived tradition!
HAFA Addresses Coronavirus Concerns
We felt it is extremely important to share that we are addressing the evolving current global pandemic and are taking steps to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved with our CSA program, events, farmers, staff, work operations and in our community around the region.
Join the HAFA CSA to learn about and celebrate Hmong culture and foodways.
