David Kotsonas currently serves as the Operations Director of the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA), the Co-Chair of the Mayo Clinic’s BioEthics Community Advisory Board and BioBank Research and Access Committee. He graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. David has a strong background in Farmers’ Markets, having been the director of both the St Paul Growers’ Association and the Rochester Downtown Farmers’ Market, while also serving as the President of the Minnesota Farmers’ Market Association. He is passionate about increasing opportunities for small, independent growers and increasing access to high-quality, locally grown foods for the members of our community.
